Right now, SETI@home listing for our team displays both Russia and Russian Federation as participants' country selection: http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/team_display.php?teamid=30257.

Can you please make a script change so that everyone who has selected Russia in his profile would be automatically changed to Russian Federation(or vice versa).

After all, "Russia" and "Russian Federation" are the same country, so having these both entries listed separately is incorrect.

Yes, PLEASE.

A very simple and correct solution would be to change everyone with "Russian Federation" as country setting (moved over from "old" SETI@home) to "Russia" (which is the available choice during S@H/BOINC new account creation).

Maybe the members of Russian Federation can change their country from Russian Federation (which is not in list already) to Russia themselves. Maybe it is possible to sent all of them a simple mail with an instructions to do that. It will be great :)

Russia and Russian Federation is the same country. It is only different ways of writing. It's just a duplicate in a DataBase. There are not such differences between Russia & RF, like between Taiwan & China. It's quite another matter.
