a) it has not come out b) it is in alpha test c) you don't want it when it is in alpha test d) it still has a few problems e) you don't want it when it has a few problems f) wait with patience 4.45 works well, many prefer the older scheduler in which case 4.19 through 4.30 also work well. Just yesterday I upgraded my last two computers to a 4.43 or better and have seen no change in the basic operation of the farm ... |

I have heard that Boinc 5.0 has just come out. Where can I download Boinc 5.0? I believe BOINC 5.00 Was supposed to Be 4.70 (There Release Dates were the same 1 July 2005)

Boinc 5.00 was out for alpha but because it was a major version change and some other problems it was recalled and version 4.70 was release. This goes to show you that use the dev version at your own risk. Problem reporting is ok , but don't complain. The major version change could not download any wu's except from alpha.
