I just noticed that my Windows client is connecting to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu. I thought that was the old "Beta" project URL.... What's the URL I *should* be connecting to? Thanks. |

The correct URL to enter into the BOINC manager when attaching to the project is: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu It is in the email you received when you created your BOINC account. It has never changed. |

The correct URL to enter into the BOINC manager when attaching to the project is: I have just tried to start a 2d computer using Boinc. The URL you give here is invalid today. I just posted a question to try to find what address is working. Just entered the ...ssl... version of the URL and it is attaching rather than returning page not found Made a liar out of me ... ssl URL locked up Boinc. After restart it now returns same error as URL cut and pasted from email ... Unable to connect Mainpage not found Fred Reinders |

The correct URL to enter into the BOINC manager when attaching to the project is: The simple way of connecting a second computer to an account is to copy the account_*.xml file from the working BOINC to the new installation and restart the new BOINC. BOINC WIKI |

You attach to the seti project, and get the "Master Fetch File" from: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu You download and upload WUs at: http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu The only SETI related address you'll see in the BOINC messages is: http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu Help and BOINC documentation is available here. |
