The impact is listed as 22:52 PDT. Does that include the 8 minute light speed distance delay for viewing? Will we actually see it at 23:00 PDT? |

The time of impact is for earth receive time 05:52 UTC on Monday, or 10:52pm PDT on Sonday or 00:52am EDT on Monday with a + or - 3 minutes. From the Deep Impact home page. The local time of the impact at the comet is 8 minutes earlier. |
