Checked some of the threads for optimised clients but not sure if there are any for the amd chips, like- xp2400,xp2600 etc I use win98se(groan) and not win xp. Also are there any for the aging xeon 700mhz 1meg L2 chips on win nt4 Just thought I might try one and see the diff. Thanks Nairb |

The K app with the SSE optimizing seems to be working well on a AMD Sempron 2400+. <br> Mars <br> <img src='http://www.boincstats.com/stats/banner.php?cpid=7d22d5f982e9096d95fa085d6ee2c1bc'> |

Checked some of the threads for optimised clients but not sure if there are any for the amd chips, like- as they say, the K should be fine for the AMDs, i have it on Ath XP Mobiles. for the xeon, you would want to use the correct SSE level, CPU-z would probably tell you, or you can make a good guess by whether it is a pII or pIII xeon. and if in doubt, the -0 will always work on them. good luck and happy crunching Micah S@h Berkeley's Staff Friends Club |
