We've noticed an interesting result.

http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=19134597

Our machine crunched it just fine. Unfortunately, we were paired up with lots of folks running AMDs and their client software errored out. Wrong optimized software, perhaps? Two of the users who were given this WU have page upon page of error results.

Because we've managed to be hooked up with a bunch of folks (it is amazing how many people this WU was sent to) who unfortunately had some sort of issues (really is odd how many AMDs we were grouped with) our results are given 0. (sniff... like I really need it, eh?)

I find this to be an odd anomaly. What can be done about users who turn in dozens and dozens of errored work units? A suspicious part of my brain is thinking this is some sort of sabotage.

THis is just an educated (sort of) guess. Most Boinc users never visit the forum, they just get and send WUs. Many of them are still using CC version 4.13 and that one would give a download error each time the server disconnected during the download. With all the "Bottlenecks" we've been experiencing lately, there must be a LOT of download errors. THis was fixed with 4.19. I've see others with this problem.
