My account info has reverted to an older email address that I no longer have. I updated my account info with you to my new email address just before you guys totally trashed the seti site with this horrible site design, and boinc garbage. Now after 4 years of helping you, and 975 results, I have zero credit and you people have made it impossible to get my stats back. Thanks for nothing. You really need to lose this new boinc rubbish. Please help me get my account back or I quit.

You can attach to your old stats with just your password. You can also set the two accounts to have the same email address, and the next (last snapshot will do the connection). BTW, everyone starts with 0 credits in BOINC, there is no conversion.

Thanks John, I'll have to find some time to figure it all out. I guess we all know that in science, change is necessary and inevitable, the sum of which, often equals annoyance. I appreciate the information.

John this new boinc is far too complicated for many of your users. Seti is going to lose a lot of help. Few people will go the length to understand this program.

What exactly are you having problems with? We will try to help.
I personally don't think BOINC is difficult to set up and use.

You download a program, stick in two bits of data having activated the account and let it go, how complicated can that be?
