I can't upload either (US AZ). No one will be at UCB for 8-10 hours. Atleast it's not a weekend! (and this coming one will be a 3 day weekend in the US)

I´ve just came out of bed and took a quick look and guess what i have seen.

'fraid it's the same here.
The status page is over 1 hour stale.
Uploads and downloads repeatedly backing off.

Despite 4 splitters, Ready to Send queue is almost exhausted (only 10,000)

The network traffic graph (http://fragment1.berkeley.edu/~cricket/inr-668-interfaces.html) shows a suspicious downward jump at ~21:00 (presumably Berkeley time).

To cap it all, presumably there is a long weekend comming up for 4th July?

It is translated to ERR_IO which in the context of this conversation means the client received a socket error when it attempted to read the next batch of data from the server.

LOL there's a good one! (Paul D. Buck pls Note)

A Wiki Search for 'Temporarily Failed' reveals a table of error codes numbers -107, -108, -109, -113, 404 and 500.... -106 not listed.

Ok, 'cept the log extract a few lines below cites -106 error as an example!!

Well, well hello Rom.
Isn't it the middle of the night over there ;)
Does this mean you're looking at a possible problem then?

He posted that at 1:03 AM pacific time. He sent me an email about 1/2 hour before that regarding the testing of these new clients that Heffed and I are helping him with.

I think he works more than people think.

Ahhh, yes. And that means there is a server-prob at Berkeley, am i right? Since the statuspage hasn´t refreshed for about 5hours, i think so.

Thanks Mike and Rom for the answer and i hope it will work soon.

There are two lists ... one is in the pretty table, and I can explain or figure out a better explanation. The other is from the list of error codes in the header file. Not being omnipotent, I have to take things when I get them ... so, if you look NOW, the -106 is in the table and is explained with Rom's words ...

So, I steal from EVERYBODY and EVERYWHERE ... :)

The real advantage of the Wiki, and my learning curve is that things like the error table I can make into an insert and update it one place, and all the others get the change too ...
