Questions and Answers : Getting started : hung in downloading
On the Work tab I see a line with a status of downloading, but, on the Transfers tab there isn't anything listed. When will the computation begin?
Check the messages in the message tab to find out what happened with the download. This should help explain somewhat what BOINC is doing.
This has been reported before. You may need to reset to get any new work.
I was using my SprintPCS cellular G3 Internet service. From home with my cable Internet it's all working fine.
