What really sucks is that, due to the crippling injuries one has recieved, and other medical conditions, one's 80-year-old father is able to get around better. Going through all this has definitely changed my outlook on life, and has made me VERY sympathetic towards older people. Especially when I percieve they are being 'put down' verbally (or textually as in here). I may only be in my early 40s, but people say I look 30 when they try to guess my age. My father (80) looks to be in his 50s. Looks can be deceiving. The average life-span in my family (95-100) means i probably have about another 50-something years to go. If I am this bad off now, I shudder to think about how I will be in another 30 or so years... Urrgh. ;-) ------------ KWSN-MajorKong KWSN Forum Admin (retired) http://www.kwsnforum.com BOINC Beta tester |

Keep enough work on disk to last between 1 light-year to 2 light-years and you on the safe side for the next Phantasie ist wichtiger als Wissen, denn Wissen ist begrenzt.Albert Einstein |

I'm only 45 but have enough of those little aches and pains that several of our parrots imitate my sigh/groan I let out when I'm getting up or picking something up. One of them is a smart ass and does it every time he sees me stand up and does it himself when he steps up on to something. |
