Must be something about your setup, as it's showing fine here. So do tell, what's your videocard, DirectX version, driver version etc. etc. Have you tried fiddling (technical term) with the project's preferences? |

Where is the lower graphic (all the signals) ? Oops! The day before yesterday I have crunched my first S@H-WU on this machine (ATI-Graphicscard) and the graphic was ok. Now, reading the posting from littleBouncer I checked it and look - the lower graphic was away. I ended Boinc and restartet it and now I can see the lower graphic again. Mysterious. |

Sorry after several tries; it works now. I don't know what happens. Maybe it was just eliminating the formerly graphic-bugs (just kidding) ! greetz littleBouncer BTW @ Ageless: ATI x800 XT, 9.0c direct-x, no change of the prefs., and it worked before with the overboarding graphic on the right side, after close and reopen the graphic was then right. This bug seems to be fixed. |

It often takes some time for the first FFTs to be displayed. I think the older version was displaying a canned picture when it did not have real data, allthough I did ocasionally see it there too. BOINC WIKI BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |

I see a graphic like the one in the OP if I look when the work unit is not running. When SETI is active, I see the one like the second post. Could it be that simple? You shouldn't see any SETI graphics when the SETI client is not the project running. This may be yet another issue with the ATI Graphics Boards. I suggest you all upgrade to the latest ATI Drivers. This cleared up a similar issue with CPDN that I had. I'd rather speak my mind because it hurts too much to bite my tongue. I see a graphic like the one in the OP if I look when the work unit is not running. When SETI is active, I see the one like the second post. Could it be that simple? When SETI is running, I see the active grapics (post #2 in this thread). When SETI is paused/preempted, I see the static graphic (post #1 in this thread). When SETI is ready to run (not yet started), I see no graphics at all. |

Is it possible that those that can see part of the graphic even when the app is not running can do so because they have the setting to leave app in memory on? Kolch - Crunching for the BOINC@Australia team since July 2004. Search for your own intelligence... |

Just an observation. First the FFT graph did not show, even with WU progress of 73%, but after about a minute the graph popped up and showed the progress for about 5 minutes, at which time I closed the graphics window. I so re-opened the window immediately after that and the FFT graph was gone again, making an appearance after about another minute. New graphic bug with the new application 4.18? Who cares? Why would anyone want to run graphics crap and possibly slow down the crunching? All BOINC and SETI stuff running here is compiled without graphics. Be lucky Neil |
