I have one PC typically crunching a unit in 10 hrs, the estimated time "to completion" in BOINC for uncrunched units is 105hrs. This discrepancy means the WU cache is way lower than it should be. Is there a way to get BOINC to recalculated it's estimate of "to completion" time?

A x10 miss by the benchmarking is interesting. What is your machine & CPU spec?

It's an 800MHz P3 running Win ME.

I think the problem is that /occasionally/ it's used to run a game that takes all the CPU cycles, so whilst it normally takes 10 hours it may some times take 40 or 50 hrs. I'm wondering if some measurement has been done when it's been in game mode which has skewed the guesstimate.

So really just looking for a way to reset the calculation.

From Boinc Manager select file and then run benchmarks. This should rerun the benchmark and takes about 1 minute to complete. During that time don't do anything. This will reset the predicted time to completion on all the work units but they will probably still be wrong.
Boinc....Boinc....Boinc....Boinc....
