Back before Seti@Home was assimilated by the Boinc, there were a number of addon utilities that we could get, some tracked historical work units, kept track of best results, kept track of the various locations that were being watched in the sky from your work units, etc. Do any such utilities exist for the version of Seti@Home that is part of Boinc? If so, where would one go to find a list of these utilities and addons?

Thanks

Addons are on the Participate in SETI@home webpage under Returning participants.

Two addons that are very nice are BoincLogX together with Seti@Home-Mapview. The original webpage for these addons can be find here.

If you're under Linux, I would strongly recommend Kboincspy.
It will crash from time to time when you're managing boinc, but when not, it runs real nice... It can display the Sky Map that we all like so much, is compatible (can read/write logs) with BoincLogX, SetiLog9x SetiLog, Seti Spy, StarMap, and can store best and returned gaussians for SETI Wu's.

It can also store 3d Models for the ProteinPredictor@HOME project (I've never tested it, but it's there)

Give it a shot, it's nice...

For my setup, I'm using these apps:

At one location:
BoincLogX
Setiathome MapView - both of these available at: Bjoern's Website

At Home:
I have the above two monitoring both, as well as BoincView (available at BoincView's website
