A young man cheated his way thru highschool, then complained about having to take remedial classes to get into college. But, he then cheated his way thru college. His diploma got him a good corporate job, but he couldn't do the job and was let go. Now he complains that a college education is worthless and he wasted time getting one.
Does anybody else know someone like this?

I know about a couple hundred business majors who would fit in this profile.. except they never complain about taking remedial classes, nor they find out why they were let go from their 'good' corporate jobs.

Not everyone's the same, but I know LOTS of people like these.

This is just another reason, among many, why corporate America's HR obsession with RESUMES is such a joke. You'll find that a high school drop out, that is intelligent, has alot of common sense, is motivated, and has hands on experience (if given the chance) will in the majority of cases make for a better employee than yuppie bred Ba's or MBa's for that matter.

When it comes to Bs and MBs degrees, that is another matter. However, among those who do you think will make the better employee.

[b]Resumes should be considered fictional reading.

BS = we know what
MS = More of the Same
PhD = Piling it Higher and Deeper (sorry Dr. A just couldn't resist)

I'd rather speak my mind because it hurts too much to bite my tongue.
