The correct URL to give the BOINC client for the SETI/BOINC project is:
http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/
That's the URL for the OLD project, but it's the correct one for the BOINC client to use for the NEW one. Embedded in there is some code to tell the BOINC client where the new project's scheduler can be found.

Try that one (if it's not what you're already using) and let us know if it works.

For the account key, don't use your e-mail address, etc. You need that huge, long, ugly string of characters, and it must be entered EXACTLY correctly to work. I think it is case-sensitive; use small/capital letters exactly as they sent it to you.

Make sure that you do not have any stray spaces in the url at the beginning or end....

When you try to attach to the project you get the message that the URL or the account ID is wrong if there is no work from the project. Just keep trying. Sometimes it takes many tries. You shouldn't have any problems entering the correct URL and Account ID if you are using cut and paste from the e-mail they sent you.

It looks like there were no WU's available at that time.
WU's can be downloaded again since 12:30 UTC.

Greetings from Belgium.

If you are running a firewall, make sure that it's not blocking BOINC from making the connection to the data server. I was getting check URL messages because the firewall blocked BOINC from comunicating to the data server.
