Ok, I made the jump over to BOINK, WHY WHY WHY are we now a half hour slower???????

WHEW, so ok, I have read a bunch of stuff and don't really understand much of it; except that credits are figured in a differnt way. I guess I'll just settle down a let things happen as they will. I'll keep an eye on this message board and do my best to learn from those of you that have a much better understanding of BOINK than I do.

I believe there is still some debugging code in the project application, which adds time.
In beta, with full debug, it could double the length of time a WU took to process.
And yes, credits are entirely different. :) |

Yes, there is still a debug code running. You can find it in the project-folder.

The SETI@Home software was rewritten to take advantage of the boinc framework... I wouldn't be surprised if they added a bit more science in there.
Didn't Rom state 3.08 was a non-debug build, oh Beta Testers? :-)

It downloaded a .pdb file.

PDB files can be built for release as well as debug. However, the information retrieved from a release build and a PDB can be much harder to interpret than those from a debug build.
Yes ROM did say that 3.08 was debug free.
