Well I'm back having worked most of the weekend, sounds hard but its all I will do for the month of June (unless then want to pay me really silly rates).
I see Seti has had a "normal Weekend".
And no-one answered my last post on this subject CC V4.45 and Communications disruptions .

I took my computer with me, with no outside world connection, and twiddled with settings, suspend etc, to try and get the Eistein units processed in some reasonable time frame. In my twiddling and observations I made a surprising discovery. I can process my Seti units 1h:20m faster (16%) than before, no extra stregth optimisations or add on programs.

Want to know how then someone please answer my previous post and explain why with a 1 day connection option I ended up with a nearly two days cache, Boinc managers estimate but actual OVER 2 day cache real time cache as observered from my real crunching times.

Regards

Andy
