What server determines credit granted.?
I know that at least 4 clients get same work unit so that seti can compare results.
I have a work unit that I am waiting for credit even though the other 3 clients have returned wu and been granted credit.
My machine is a slow PIII 450 MHz[compared to others] so I average 14 -16 hours per WU.
I am thinking that because some server program is down and the transitioner is backlogged 20 hours is the reason for delay in getting credit

I'll assume you're referring to this one. Since you only returned today, the validator probably just hasn't gotten around to re-checking your result.

Give it a couple hours and all should be well. There is (of course) a chance that your unit won't fit the quorum and won't get any credit... but there's always that chance.
