Hi!
What is going on?! I've ran sucessfully 3machines under my account, and when I'm trying to connect next ones to the project, it gets to this point:
2005-06-12 16:27:45 [---] Starting BOINC client version 4.43 for i686-pc-linux-gnu
2005-06-12 16:27:47 [---] Data directory: /home/users/ntr/BOINC
2005-06-12 16:27:47 [---] No general preferences found - using BOINC defaults
2005-06-12 16:27:47 [---] Remote control not allowed; using loopback address
2005-06-12 16:27:49 [---] Running CPU benchmarks
2005-06-12 16:28:46 [---] Benchmark results:
2005-06-12 16:28:46 [---] Number of CPUs: 1
2005-06-12 16:28:46 [---] 902 double precision MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU
2005-06-12 16:28:46 [---] 1740 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU
2005-06-12 16:28:46 [---] Finished CPU benchmarks
2005-06-12 16:28:46 [---] Resuming computation and network activity
2005-06-12 16:28:46 [---] Insufficient work; requesting more

And it repeats last message each passing hour for 2 days now. Other sucessfuly started machines are counting with no problems.
It seams it's a problem with registering new machines by servers.. (new machine never appeared in my account tab). Any idea/solution?

Thanks in advance!

- Jakub

Well, I'm not able to get any work units from CPDN, but then again they appear to be on an older version of BOINC. Don't know if it's compatible or not. I *do* appear to be able to download WUs for SETI.

Well, scratch that. I do NOT seem to be able to get WUs from either right now. I was able to copy uncompleted WUs from CPDN to the new version's project directory and it's happily crunching those, but I can't get any SETI work units, despite resetting the project yesterday and again today.

On the other hand, in the "project" directory for S@H, there appear to be quite a number of WUs. But, they aren't showing up in the BOINC Manager. Can someone explain what's going on and why I don't seem to be getting any WUs?

This is getting really annoying! It's been two weeks now, and I'm still getting the same message! Am I the only one?? No one else has a problem with registering new computers with the project?

It's not that I cannot download new WUs, I CANNOT CONNECT TO THE PROJECT AT ALL!!
I'm getting the same message every hour:

Same problem here, I'm guessing its a firewall problem. Anyone know how to turn off the firewall under fedora core 4? (scratch that, will start new topic)
