I too am having the same problem as the rest of the SAH volunteer force. The server status page shows that everything is working. All systems are green across the board, yet my system is still not able to get a scheduler to respond.

I've gone all over the SAH site, and it appears they really don't want any feedback from their volunteer force. Other than this forum, there appears to be no way to send any information about problems we are having. Since I can't be sure the SAH team reads these forums, I have no certain way to reach the SAH team with questions or problems.

Shouldn't the SAH team make it clear how problems are to be reported? Shouldn't they make it clear whether or not the forums are the proper way of communicating to the SAH team?

As for the rest of your question, I think the SAH team would want problems to be posted on the Questions and problems forums, at least initially - just my guess

And I do know they read these forums, I've seen them reply to questions - but they can't reply to every question.

The paid team is extremely small, and would be swamped by all of the help requests and unable to do any other work. At least two of the paid staff and several people that are in regular communication with them read and post.

The status page still shows everything running, but if you look in top left corner, you'll find [As of 8 Jun 2005 20:10:11 UTC] , meaning that even the process generating the status page is stuck...
