Hello,

I am old SETI@home, I have used BOINC for a few days
and I would like to understand my results.

See: http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=1014085

- Why of the results in green ?
- Why this series of "pending" since several days?

and why my total results aditionnent aren't immediately on my account?

Thank you to light me

Guy:

Welcome to BOINC! The best answers to your questions are here:
http://boinc-doc.net/index.php
This is Paul's documentation of BOINC.

Short Answers: Green indicates work units that have not been sent in yet by your computer, but the deadline is still in the future; Red indicates work units that have passed their deadline for return; Black indicates work units that were received by BOINC from your computer.

For you to receive credit for work accomplished, your result must match closely with at least two other people. Until BOINC receives a total of three matching sets of results, none of you get credit, so "pending" is indicated.

Results take time to go from pending to granted credit because it takes time for all three (or four) people to finish the calculations.

Please read Paul's documentation above for better explanations.
