As an old user i am interested in whether or not the new boinc system will list classic results under the results section of the user account page

I am not sure if I understand your question, but if you are asking for a detailed view on the results you have send back with SETI@home Classic, then this is not possible.

The result and WU list on the users account page only display the current status. If all results for a given WU are finished or over the deadline and there was found a matching result in the validation process, then 14 days later the WU and the results are removed from the Database. Only the matching (canonical) result is moved to the science database in the background before this ;). If this wouldn't be done, the BOINC database will become to large and slow.

This was/is still the same with the SETI@home Classic database, but there you don't see the current results temporarly.
