There are already several threads about this and the server status page shows the scheduler as offline.

Server Down Help !!

Recently on the home page the news has been updated as follows:

The file server containing the upload/download storage hung last evening. We had to power cycle it today to bring it back. It is now back up and the RAID is resync'ing. When this is complete we will bring scheduling and data service back on line.

The "hamsters" deserve their weekends too -- but it looks like they've been busy anyway.

I like your optimistic point of view. I didnt have it when boinc first started because the project was down so many times. I think that alot of participants dont share your point of view because they are new to the project or have not planned for unexpected outages. Some one posted saying not to set cache size to greater than 1 day because the program will panick or somthing. Taking the past unexpected outages this 1day cache idea is crazy. I would suggest a cache size of at least 7 days for these unexpected outages if seti@home is all you crunch. My backup crunch is Einstein@home or seticlassic. I use setidriver and have 100 wu cache on several computers for seti classic. I do this when servers are up. In most cases when setiboinc is down seticlassic is down also.

Panic mode is your friend. It is nothing to worry about.

The link is fine, now all I need is a download site for ringtones of the buggers. Especially to download the simple song. Way better than that crazy frog. :)

There are old sites with the original song and graphics. They might have them.
Enjoy bugging people at fine restaurant establishments with loud annoying ringtones? :)

You misunderstood me. I don't have a mobile phone, and if I can live throughout this lifetime, I never will. It might be a nice replacement for friends and my upstairs neighbour though. :)
