Why doesn't S@H keep us informed of what is going on any more? setiboincdata.ssl.berkeley.edu is not accepting uploads or giving downloads yet there is no indication that anyone at S@H is aware of the problem and is doing something about it. There is tons of material about people in Europe not being able to contact S@H because of the de-peering of Cogent, but no indication that the problem has been solved or any steps taken toward resolution. |

Well, BOINC is certainly no improvement compared to SETI. I had some hopes they would be a little more informative, but they keep their mouth shut as if they were guarding state secrets. After all, we are only contributors and the one who make the whole thing run, so why bother with us ? |

It's a weekend, it went out in the middle of the night at Berkeley, they don't get paid to run SETI. It's a volunteer project. If you have your cache set for a few days there is nothing to worry about, yet. |

Where do you set this cache for more work units? In my preferences it says that 10 GB are available but actually only 11 MB of disk space are being used. |

If you have your cache set for a few days there is nothing to worry about, yet. The cache is based on time. On this web site Your Account - General Preferences - Connect every xx days. The guy that came in to fix the problem was having difficulties updating the front page, and he had other things planned for the weekend. BOINC WIKI |
