Mine runs 24/7 on several computers. In your general settings what does it say for crunch between the hours of x and y? The general settings are in the your account page of this web site. There are instructions below this setting that tell how to get it to be on 24/7.

In my general preferences I have no restrictions on when Seti/Boinc can run but seti only runs while I am logged in to an account and Boinc Manager is running.

Is it possible to have Seti/boinc running while the computer is on but I am not logged into an account?

I believe you would need to run it as a service. When I installed version 4.44, it asked me during installation what kind of install I wanted, and I chose the "service" option (can't remember exactly what it was called, but it was the last/bottom option listed).

But after that, the installation got to the point where I needed to enter a "log on" account for the BOINC service. After I entered my username/password, it gave me an error and exited from the installation. So the next time I got to that part of the installation and entered my username/password, while it was thinking I quickly went into my Windows Services, found the BOINC service, and set the "log on" to "Local System," then went back to the installer which finished without error.
