I have a new system with a pair of hyperthreaded Xeons that Fedora Core3 sees as 4 CPUs. (Dell, $1350 delivered!)

I am running 4 SETI@Home work units, and they aren't assigned to separate logical CPUs: One CPU has none, one has two, and the others have one each.

When I look at the CPUs in pairs (0-1 and 2-3), they have 2 units each.

I'm wondering if there's a way to force one unit to be run on each CPU. It probably won't make any significant performance change (5% at most), but it will make my CPU statistics make better sense.
