Sorry if this is not a pure 'SETI' question. I figured that I would post on here because this seems to be the most active board.

My question is this: I am running SETI, Einstein, and Climate on my 'main' computer---i.e. the fastest. Now, when I go to Bonic total stats there are two entries under my screen name which is 'Bells' There is a stat for all my Seti and Einstein---then there is a seperate one for Climate.

Can anyone suggest anything to join these two accounts? The e-mail address for all three acounts is the same. I wrote about this a month ago and someone suggested just wait because Climate was experiencing problems at the time. Well it has been two months now and I would appreciate any help anyone has. Thank you in advance!

It's a known problem (at least for a lot of forum users over there) with CPDN. Look in this thread for a possible solution (not tested by me, as mine works fine).

Willy (BoincStats admin) offers some mess-up-insurance in this post ( as a thank you for any donations), if you're only interested in getting your stats there straight ;)

Solution two on the first mentioned thread worked for me way back when. It's still working perfectly fine after about 4 version upgrades.

I'm not sure I like the suggested ideas - especially the part about using climates cpid, if anything it should be one of the others..

But I noticed something on boincstats: your host doesn't show up. It does on seti, but not climate. Maybe there's some odd connection there...

The fact that you run climate on a computer that runs at least one of the other projects should make the cpid's syncronize eventually - but I do think two months is very long for that process...

CPDN had some problems with their XML export a week ago. Te resolve the problem one of the developers changed a setting in the host-XML creation process. The next update CPDN lost half of it's hosts according to the XML file, and it's still getting less every day. (link to CPDN forum topic)

I think that in their main database, all hosts are fine, so that shouldn't be the reason for the CPID problem.

Ok I have done what you all said. I relpaced the "cross-project-id" from Seti and Einstein with the one from Climate, and then updated all three. Hopefully in a day or so I will see my stats combined. If I need any more advice I'll let you know! Thank you !!

OK, well I have tried all options and this is the one that worked for me: I signed up with Seti first, then Einstein, then Climate. I had to replace the CLIMATE cross-project-id number with the Seti one, as well as Einstein. As far as I can tell the FIRST projest you sign up with is the 'master' and the others are the 'slave' Thanks for all the help!
