Every so often, browsing this website, I get a connection timeout error. I think it possibly because the router I have re-downloads the entire DNS tables every x weeks and therefore kills the internet connection for several minutes.

Could others post here if they have connections failing, please?

I experience at least something similar - don't know about the dns dl though, but I do blame my router. As I'm running a website, I don't wait around much - I rush to the router and dsl modem, pull the plugg for a few minutes and re-insert the plugg and I'm up and running again. The strange thing is, I'm able to ping remote sites, but I can't get in contact with any with my browser or connect with pop3-servers when this happens (no, it's NOT the computer nor the cables as the same thing happens with my other host).
