If you've been following threads on 4.43, you know that it's got some big problems for which the fixes have been submitted for 4.44 (or later). Yet, 4.43 is the "current version"! (JM7 has noted finding/correcting a BUNCH of problems with 4.43)

Now Predictor seems to be telling everyone (including those with 4.43) that their "core client is out of date and you must upgrade". (even though the real cause seems to be that the only have WU's for their internal farm which uses the "version check" logic so that the test farm gets test WU's and real users dont)..

So, The PP "situation" is driving folks to upgrade to the bug ridden 4.43, even though that won't fix the lack of production WU's at PP, and JM7 has a version in the "soup" which might elimate the weirdness of 4.43...

This has become such a cluster. The same thing happened a year ago when the students working on BOINC and SETI saw the summer holiday draw near! (I STILL have pending WU's from that time!)
