I went to download the client, and it promted me to make my account first. Fine. Done. Punched email in, punched nickname in, yada yada ya. Go to log in on the website, doesn't work. Repeatedly try, still doesn't work. Try using my nickname. Not working. Try asking for my password. Nothing. I created my account from http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/index.php under step 2. Does that not actually work or something? Please help!!!! Edit after viewing own post: Look! there it has my Nickname and everything!!! What the devil is going on here? I'm so confused. |

I assume that you mean you can't get Boinc to work and run Seti@home? Instructions on what to do next can be found here. Foamy is "Lord and Master". (Oh, + some Classic WUs too.) |

You should have gotten an email from SETI with information like this: This email confirms your account with SETI@home: Project URL: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu Account Key: "Your 32 character account key" User name: "Your Chosen Nickname" E-mail: "Email address you used to create your account" To configure your account, visit http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/account_created.php _________________________________ Use your ACCOUNT KEY from the email to log onto your SETI account. If you cut and paste from the email make sure you don't paste a space at the end of the account key. Help and BOINC documentation is available here. |
