I would like to delete a host but it has 1 pending result from July 2004. This w/u (532915) has 3 results reported (last July 14th) but reports "too many results". Anyone one know why this would still be hanging around? Why would it send out x units and then report to many? Found another on another host I'd like to delete. w/u 147512. Same situation on this one. Ditto the following: w/u 537208 & 1299078. slightly different but same error. - da shu @ HeliOS, "A child's exposure to technology should never be predicated on an ability to afford it." |

Anyone one know why this would still be hanging around? Why would it send out x units and then report to many? Hi, Up until about 2 months ago I had 14 such WUs from the July to August 2004 timeframe stuck on my "Results" Page. Then they restarted the "Deleter/purger" any all but 4 went away. I don't know why they stuck originally (other then they occurred during server problem periods), nor do I know why the 4 are still stuck. But you aren't alone, many older users have these. tony |

Same here. I have one host that's no longer in use with 3 results showing that date back to July and August 2004. |

Tony; How did you run the "Deleter/purger"? I run boinc/seti on Macs, so I use command line stuff. Thanks; Larry Anyone one know why this would still be hanging around? Why would it send out x units and then report to many? LarryB56 |

Tony; Alinator is correct. the purger/deleter are a part of Seti. After returned results have been validate, credited, and transitioned, the deleter and purger clean up the disc space by removing the old stuff. Seti only recently started doing the delete/purge. These old results are just plain stuck. I don't know if it'll take manual intervention by berkeley to clean these up or not. It's not all that important in my opinion, so I don't worry about them. |

I want to delete these two "retired" crunchers, but work is "pending". http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=1203950 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=887494 Thanks. |

There is another whole thread for reporting old still pending units. This is it: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=15231 |
