"We are currently finishing "tail" of current study, that is, resubmitting work until every workunit has been processed.

After that there will be a short break (week or so) and then about one million new workunits (which makes about five million results) will be submitted.

*SIGH* And here I was hoping the news would be that they are taking new members!

It's the one project I really want to be on, besides SETI.

There appears to be a lot of debate over there (LHC), whether or not the project currently needs more new members, mainly centreing around the amount of work available to distribute to the approx 5000 members, we seem to get through the work so fast it's unbelievable, my own poor little crunchers have been too late to grab any work for the last week and a half, it's just all gone by the time they try to get any :-)

Well, I understand entirely that the project is in beta test mode and the number of users they have is adequate (more than adequate, it seems). However, when every other person seems to be on the project and it is one that interests me and I can't join, well, you can udnerstand that I'm antsy for it to open up and start crunching for real!

Can't blame me for enthusiasm!
