Two weekends past during one of the outages, I took the opportunity to attach to Einstein. At the time, Einstein sent me tons of work ( Probably did something wrong somehow . Once Seti came back I got some work but Einstein was crowding them out. So. I aborted alot of results. These have shown as aborted on my work list ever since. Will these go away someday ? Their deadline has expired. Thanks Steve |

Hi Steve, it has been my experience that the Aborted results will be cleared down in the client the next time you contact the E@H Scheduler. ie in a simiar way you report a result to the scheduler after you crunch and upload the result for any complete WU. Does this tie in with what you are seeing? Paul. ps, I think a project detach or reset wilil also clear them down. Wanna visit BOINC Synergy? Click my stats! Join BOINC Synergy Team |

Aborted WU's will go away automatically. When Boinc is ready to start crunching them it will see they are aborted and mark them as "client error, aborted by GUI". After that, the next time the project is updated this "result" will be send to the scheduler and the WU's are cleared on your PC. :-) |

Correct all. They fell out with an error when the client tried to process them. Then and only then did they clear from the list. Would be nice if they just went away when aborted. The deadline didn't seem to be the trigger that made them go away as it was two days after the deadline. Thanks for the heads up all. Now if I could only figure out why Einstein sent so many in the first place when SETI was down. |
