I'm sitting here watching the series finale of Enterprise and some of the characters were flying a shuttle pod across Mars. The camera briefly showed a 'Carl Sagan Monument' on the planet's surface. I just thought some people here might find that interesting. ----- |

Well, it doesn't really need a spoiler since it's just a detail :) Besides, this is fair warning for people on the West coast (or elsewhere) who might not normally watch Enterprise to tune in. It happens near the end of the first half hour. Maybe you can get a screenie for everyone! ----- |

You know, I'm not sure if it's one big or two regular episodes. It's 2 hours - that's all I know. ----- |

I did some research on Wikipedia (as I watch Enterprise, of course): "The landing site of the unmanned Mars Pathfinder spacecraft was renamed the Carl Sagan Memorial Station in honor of Dr. Sagan on July 5, 1997." Apparently, in the Star Trek Universe, when humans actually got to mars they built a memorial for him. That would explain the pathfinder robot in front of the memorial in Enterprise. ----- |

Don't worry, I won't, although if you haven't read any spoilers yet, you're going to poo your pants right before the opening credits :) Please, someone, get a screenie of the Carl Sagan memorial about half an hour into the first ep! ----- |
