This is an interesting occurrence. Now that I have no work left in the queue, the "Suspend when user is active" option seems to be working now!!!???? But it never seemed to work when crunching WU's. Strange. By the way I'm running V3.20.

Do you have any other profiles set up? Some people have issues with the "suspend" preference if they have any more profiles than the default.

I do as a matter of fact. I'll try to delete them and see if it works

Thanks,

OK this is really wierd. It seems to be working now. I really didn't do anything. maybe it had something to do with upgrading to ver 3.20 but i didn't see an immediate fix. Curious

I've found that BOINC, when launched at startup of the machine, won't suspend. But if you quit BOINC and restart it, then it will honor your suspend preferences. Very annoying, as you have to remember to quit it and re-launch it. (Note: I don't know what happens if you don't have it launch on startup but then launch it yourself.)

Hope they fix it sometime.
