For the past two days the XMS data feed to the stats sites hasn't been updated -- seems to be affecting all the stats sites..

These updates have been pretty regular until this weekend.

I emailed the berkeley guys about it this morning and lo and behold, they were back by the afternoon! I'm suspecting the db_dump process just didn't get restarted after the last DB server shutdown.

No update to S@H stats on boincstats.com for 24 hours.

Is this problem back again?

(Please! I'm not sucking around for the "Why we do this" lecture; I just really like to watch those stats :)

Hi!

24 hours ago files were done, but not complete, I guess.
www.boincstats.com read it ok, while www.boincsynergy.com got lost with teams.

New files are ready, just wait some time for stats sites to fetch, parse and display.

You can allways check it at http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/stats/

Damn I'm glad I'm doing a tripple check before parsing a XML file :)

Something is still fubared. The files appear to not have been run through gzip. Also the teams file is still corrupt by the looks of it. Glad I added in some data checking too :) XML feeds like this used to do bad things(tm) to my tables...

Yes, files are not complete.
I guess process crashed before file is done, so it is not gzipped.

There are 92291 users in users.xml. I am missing ;-)

Hi,

I too noticed the severe lack of teams on Sunday.

Unfortunately, the team XML file screwed my stats temporarily until a back-up was restored.

I have since suspended stats updates for Seti.

Best regards,

Neil Munday

Indeed. Looks like boincstats.com and myself (newly back up at stats.kwsn.net) were the only ones who escaped the madness with an intact (if outdated) database. Horray for error checking! :)
