I use Seti @home with setispy and setimonitor.I am not using boinc. I set my cache at 40 w/u. Upon completion I cannot get connection to website to send completed w/u's or recieve new w/u's. I click the connect to server on Setimonitor and the frame opens with no actiont to send and recive but no action. I went to setispy and asked it to restart client which it tried and client asked me to connect to internet which I did and again no uploading or downloading took place.
I use Xp pro sp2 on athlon 64 with 512mb Ram using the xp firewall, microsoft antispyware and norton antivirus. I currently have open and running broadband connections on pc for web and email.Evertythings working.
Why can't I get the three programs client, spy and monitor to work in concert and connect to net? Been doing this for 2 years and this happened maybe twice and was resolved simply by going to client and click on connect now...today nothing works...are my state.sah files in wrong place..this is a confusing area for me..
Addl info did a bios update earlier this week.
Any suggestions?
