Thanks for explaining how to use the "connect to computer" feature on the new CC's. I just upgraded from 4.19 to 4.36 and couldn't figure out how to use it until reading your user manual.

You are a tremendously valuable resource to the community.

Thanks again, :-)

I too would like to thank Paul for his excellent User Guide to BOINC, and for pointing out to me his HTML Lesson (also in the Guide) in this thread here

As a test I decided to copy and slightly alter a message in another thread, I hope Saenger doesn't mind.

The message reads:

Hello and welcome everybody to the new and fascinating world of Boinc!

The (very good) manual for Boinc is the BOINC Powered Projects Documentation by Paul D. Buck and the FAQ therein.

A quick installation guide in this is here and for windows go here, for –ux go here afterwards.

For information regarding Credits look here !

For information regarding the transfer from Classic to Boinc look here !

Sometimes I think we are alone in the universe, and sometimes I think we are not. In either case the idea is quite staggering.
