Recently when I try to open up BOINC it has started to freeze and I get the classic Not Responding issue. It only happens when the Manager Screen is opened, and after it opens it just freezes. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know! Recently I haven't deleted anything, but I have installed the Ipod software, but that's it. Thanks!

Which computer?
I don't understand the "freeze" you report.
The PC stops doing EVERYTHING?
BOINC Stops?
What is using the CPU (look in task manager)?

You give very little information ... that makes it hard to help.

I run iTunes on the Macintosh now every day with no interference, and I never had that problem on my PCs when I ran it there, so, that is not likely the problem. It could be, but I doubt it.

I had this happen on one pc yseterday, it has had 4.19 on it running with no problems for a couple months, and yesterday Boinc locked up completely, It absolutly froze, everything else worked fine, but Boinc manager was completely unresponsive.
It would work for about 10 seconds after a reboot, but luck up right when it started to resume working on a WU. I mannaged to tell it to reset the project during the 10 seconds on the third try, and after it reset I've had no problems.

My apologies for not leaving enough information, I forget how these things work. OKay, I'm running XP, 1Gig ram, with 2.4 processor, CPU is using almost100% for the boinc processes, including seti, boinc, and the boinc manager, it runs constantly so this is not out of the ordinary. The Boinc manager is the only thing that freezes, not the computer itself, and I can close the program without problem, but on opening it up again it again freezes. I will try to reset the project, but I've been unable to click anything on the screen when it is open. I've also tried uninstalling it, but to no avail. I would appreciate any help, and thanks for those who have replied
