The grumpy one is a Ruby Oscar we affectionately call George. He's about 7 inches and loves crickets. The Fish behind him is a Texas Cichlid and will give George a run for his money when it comes to crickets.

Special mention to Captain Avatar for reducing the size of the photo for me.

Great fish. Had one in the early '80's. Raised him/her (didn't know which) from a 1 incher in a 10 gal. tank to a 12 incher in a 55 gal. tank. He'd eat anything that dropped into that tank, everything from other fish, bugs, mice and one of his favorites, "Cheesy Poofs". And he really liked rearranging his scenery about every other day too, moving a pile of gravel or pebbles from one end to the other. Unfortunately he met his demise when a heater malfunctioned and turned that tank's contents to 55 gal. of "Red Oscar Chowder".

George and Crew are in a 64 gallon and my heater is designed to fail off :)

He was about 2 inches when I bought him.. The texas was a little over an inch. The Bubblebee Cichlid in there with them was about an inch too.. He is now 5 inches.

Yes George does re-arrange the tank.. For which the cat fish gratefully clean it up..
