Hello, I am writing from Venezuela, I can't upload any of my WUs. Are you sure that the problem origin isnt Berkeley servers? Because I had the same problem when the Cogent link problem was first reported, and I dont think that South American internet traffic goes first to Europe and then to North America. We have two cable links and satelite link for thata traffic. So something is wrong at Berkeley. I dropped down my firewall just in case, but coulnd get to upload or download WUs. I tried one of the proxies: 217.17.233.181 Port: 80 ... after that could download WUs but no uploading.... Using Boinc Ver. 4.25 ... Could any ET help Berkeley comunicate with other earthlings outside USA? > i just want to ask is it my network problem or SETI server still not working? |

The broken European connection was a different issue. This time the Cogent connection in Southern California was broken. This disabled Berkeley and anyone else in that SoCal area that was using their service for access. Indications (increase in the number of results waiting for validation) are that the Cogent connection is back up but the SetiBOINC servers are going to be swamped for a while (typical after outages); this will prevent you from uploading and downloading with any regularity. 7,049 S@H Classic Credits |
