I have 2 WinXP machines on which I upgraded BOINC from 4.32 to 4.35. One of them detected a version change and ran CPU benchmarks. The other continues to work as if nothing has changed. Has anyone else seen this?

Hi, another Maverick!!

Why not launch rpc_gui (boincmanager) and hit "run benchmarks"? It works even if you don't change the core client.

Sorry, my point was that none of the new features like 'earliest deadline first' works. It keeps crunching using my global prefs.

It only does "earliest first" if things start to get "close."

Otherwise it does "highest debt first".....

If you are talking about the deadlines of workunits, then the core's policy is "first come, first served."

Now that you mention it, i don't remember noticing my PC detecting the version change when i upgraded...It did however take on the new features, and problems. Uninstalling 4.35 and reinstalling made no difference.
