I have 2 WinXP machines on which I upgraded BOINC from 4.32 to 4.35. One of them detected a version change and ran CPU benchmarks. The other continues to work as if nothing has changed. Has anyone else seen this? |

Has anyone else seen this? > Hi, another Maverick!! Why not launch rpc_gui (boincmanager) and hit "run benchmarks"? It works even if you don't change the core client. Luckiest in the world. Sorry, my point was that none of the new features like 'earliest deadline first' works. It keeps crunching using my global prefs. |

Remove 4.32 and reinstall 4.35 Semper Eadem So long Paul, it has been a hell of a ride. Park your ego's, fire up the computers, Science YES, Credits No. |

Now that you mention it, i don't remember noticing my PC detecting the version change when i upgraded...It did however take on the new features, and problems. Uninstalling 4.35 and reinstalling made no difference. Kolch - Crunching for the BOINC@Australia team since July 2004. Search for your own intelligence... |
