Hello all, i decided to switch over boinco for my laptop.

Here is a few comment:

depending on software-hardware prediction for startup, i am loosing all project data if boinc start BEFORE i have a internet access.

the tabs about perfs are fully blanks. Event after running a WU.

I can download WU, but i cant sent results.

You don't state which version of the core client you're using, but if it's 4.20 and above then read on. When you see the blank tabs, look at the very bottom of the Boinc Manager screen and I believe you'll see the word "disconnected", it should be reading "Local host". This means Boinc hasn't found the network on YOUR machine. Try a shut down and restart of Boinc. Are you using Win98 or SE? Many have seen this issue including myself. I've heard of one person restarting 4 times before it started working.

Everyone is experiencing this as Berkeley is having problems at the moment. You'll have to wait like the rest of us.

Lower right Conner of BOINC, does it state disconnected? If it does go to file, select computer, and on popup hit ok, if that does not connect you, enter the word localhost and hit ok......
