In proportion I seem to be getting a lot more of these noisy WUs. They used to be about one every two weeks or so, but now seem to be two or three per week. Anyone else having this sort of distribution? |

They come in Batches. The area of the Sky they were looking at at Arecibo was Very Noisy I guess. Right now Data Aquisition at Arecibo is Turned off most likely do to that http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sstatus.html . The SETI Classic Crunchers Love those 1 Minute to Crunch Noisy ones. Over there You get a Full Work Unit. They are worth the same as a 6 Hour (Tough as Shoe Leather to Chew) Work Unit. With SETI BOINC however those 1 Minute Work Units are only worth a Tenth of a Credit at Best. |

Hi Its true but if you reminder when you get 30 credits for one result normally took 4 houres and you have 100 of them with 60 seconds what gives 0.20 or so you have also 20 credits for 1.66 houres. Thats nearly fair i think. greetz Mike With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

I've had 13 short units in the last 8 hours. There's a lot of noise out there. Grant Darwin NT |
