Is it safe to assume that since the sah_assimilator is down still it will be down for th weekend? I'm trying to get an idea of how long this server lag will last... got alot of finished work but nothing is uploading still. I'm sure everyone else knows what i mean.

The assimilator doesn't hinder you from uploading, it assimilates validated results into the science database. So, the results are already received and validated (thereby granted credits too) before the assimilator gets its "hands" on them.

I think it's just a typical queue problem that prevents you from uploading. Everybody tries to upload (and download) at the same time, and creates a big bottleneck at the server. Personally, I have successfully uploaded and downloaded many WU's today, although not all of my uploads are validated yet. I have about 10 WU's waiting for other people to upload their result.
