Uninstall BOINC on the desired machine. If you have completed any credits with any given machine, it will continue to show on your computers list even after you uninstall the software from it. Because your computers list is a record of where your accounts total credits came from.

You don't need to have BOINC installed on a computer to get credit granted that's still in the pending list of that computer. As long as you uploaded all results & reported them on that computer, the server will have enough info from you (and that computer) and wait for the next two computers to crunch the units & upload & report the results.

The wu you have sent back but are pending will stay pending until 2 other computers crunch the same wu and then you will be granted the credit. Even if you no longer have the machine crunchin'

Check for which preferences you have that computer running, default, home, work or school. Then edit the preferences on http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/prefs.php?subset=global for those seperate preferences. Set the Keep enough work on disk to last between to 0 and 0, save the changes.

Open up the BOINC GUI on the computer you're running on, Project tab, rightclick seti@home and choose Update. Your new preferences will then be loaded and if all is well, that BOINC will not request more work when it nears its low-water mark.
