Ok , i'm sure this has been covered countless times. But i've never asked. lol. Since the servers just came back up; should my system be takign forever and a day to upload the results? I've got 4 completed results ready to send, but when i tell it to send it times out or something and says retry in 3hrs. Also it's not d/l'ing any more work? Also, how long does it take for credit to be given to you for the work you've completed? Thanks. |

Let me introduce you to the [url=http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/forum_forum.php?id=10]Number Crunching<a> area, where you can get your questions answered or in the [url=http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/forum_help_desk.php]Questions and Answers<a> area, for the questions, you can't get answered in Numbers! Since the servers just came back up; should my system be takign forever and a day to upload the results? Just until the kinks are all out. I've got 4 completed results ready to send, but when i tell it to send it times out or something and says retry in 3hrs. Also it's not d/l'ing any more work? Normal. BOINC will return the WUs once the deferment period has passed. Also, how long does it take for credit to be given to you for the work you've completed? Thanks. It varies, depending on how long it takes the people who crunched the same WU to return their results. From past experience (I am not one of the Devs), you should see a "pending" status in your results page within 6 hrs. of an upload. Go to your account page, and click "View Results" from the account statistics panel. |
