I would like to know how to get BOINC to 'Run Always' when the machines reboot. I am using Windows XP Home or Professional (depending on the computer). Under Your Account and General Preferences (as well as Home Preferences), I have selected Do Work While Computer Is In Use? 'YES' I cannot find anyother place to chane this option. Thanks in advance. The only place where you can change the preferences is in your "Your Account" on the website of Boinc in "Preferences" - "General". As you made the choice in this preferences to run always, Boinc will always run even if your PC is used. The only thing you need to do in order to make it run after rebooting Windows is to put a shortcut of the GUI in the startup folder. Greetings from Belgium. |

Once you have the bionic GUI running, right click on the icon in the sys tray, it will give you a list like this: Show Hide Run Always Run based on preferences Suspend Exit just click on run always and it will override your web prefs... |

I guess I was expecting to see "Run Always" instead of "Run based on preferences". It is running. Thanks...bruce |
