Can't Delete Host

You can only delete a host that has never been given a work unit. Since the host in question has "existing results", it can't be deleted. If it is a duplicate entry where the same host appears in the list twice, you can merge the two identical hosts together, but it actually has to be identical to another host to be able to merge. If it's a computer you simply don't use for seti any longer, it will just have to be left in your list. |

thx for your help, i sort of gathered that was the case. I think it is not good if you can't delete a host. it shows i not as much control over my account with this system. Maybe this is a thing for SETI@home to have a look at and fix. Cheers Quail <a> [/url] Wireless Signals of the Past |

Maybe you could wish to hide the host. However, deleting a host is not possible, as that is a critical part of tracking who did what. |
