can someone clarify which part of this work and how ?

for the moment this looks like not working for some people (like me) and other people claim it works ???

i'm pretty sure i had it working at ome time, but all attempts to get back failed...

i just want to be able to have boinc suspend if I use my computer...

:-(

I've been told that it works as long as you do not have location preferences set up (WORK, HOME, SCHOOL), if you have these set then BOINC runs all the time (and is a bit of a hog).

Good Catch!

I've been dealing with this for weeks! After reading your post, I deleted all location preferences from my account, force BOINC to Update, and and the problem was fixed immediately! Now the BOINC client suspoends the second I move the mouse or type.

Thanks!

Time of day preferences under home, work, and school DO work though (or at least for work).
